Important! All students must validate and update their SEVIS record to maintain valid legal status in the US.
Immediately after you arrive in the US, click on this link to validate your record in SEVIS. This must be completed within 2 days of your arrival to the US.
Once you have visited the Social Security Office and checked in with your employer, click on this link to update your SEVIS record and to complete the mandatory Post-Arrival Orientation & Questionnaire. This must be completed within 20 days of your arrival to the US.
